Welcome to Alpha Academy Softball
Based in Hurricane, West Virginia, Alpha Academy Softball is dedicated to building fundamentally sound athletes through competitive travel softball. Our focus is on skill development, teamwork, and fostering a love for the game, all while keeping the cost of travel ball affordable for families. We believe in providing high-quality instruction, a positive environment, and meaningful opportunities for players to grow both on and off the field.

Co-Alpha of the Week
What a weekend for Alpha Academy Softball! With so many standout performances, narrowing down our Co-Alphas of the Week was no easy task. From dominant pitching to explosive bats, it was a complete team effort across the board — but two athletes rose above with incredible contributions on both sides of the ball.
Brooke Wilson – Alpha Academy 11U
Brooke was an absolute force this weekend, leading her team to the 12U Championship. She collected 7 hits and drove in 5 runs, finishing with a .538 batting average and an eye-popping 1.231 slugging percentage. Brooke was a defensive anchor as well, playing multiple positions flawlessly with zero errors. Her energy and leadership were felt all weekend as she set the tone on and off the field.
Kennedy Hylton – Alpha Academy 14U
Kennedy was nearly unstoppable at the plate, batting a jaw-dropping .857 over the weekend and racking up 6 hits and an RBI. She locked down the shortstop position with confident, clutch plays and was a key leader in guiding her 14U team to a runner-up finish in a loaded division.
Honorable mention to our incredible pitchers:
Marylynn (14U) – 17 strikeouts in 9.2 innings
Braelea (11U) – 18 strikeouts and zero walks in 15.2 innings
